Kaizen is the process of redesigning and making things simpler by breaking them down into smaller parts. The theme I think this is related to is good design entails continual redesign. These relate because they both have the same meaning of constantly reiterating instead of just going with your first thought or design.

My group is doing the waiting in line project. We first came up with an idea that would show reward to those who walk the most. The people who recorded the most steps would be allowed to go into a special line that would move quickly.

After examining Kaizen, we realized that we would have to make some changes. How can we make this design opportune for all guests at the park? Another thing that we have to think about is how we can actually satisfy guests instead of making some angry or jealous. We should be able to solve these problems through constant iteration.
