Blog 2

The site I have chosen as obvious design is Twitter, specifically its search page (http://search.twitter.com/).

The page is very simple, with some popular topics at the bottom, the search bar, and above it the phrase "see what's happening -- right now." That phrase pretty much explains it all. When you perform a search, you are shown up to the second tweet results and given alerts at the top of the page when new comments are posted. This allows you to easily keep up to date on a topic, event, or whatever on a single page, and at a much quicker pace than any blog or news site can ever offer. It's a very simple, easy to understand design and still manages to be a very powerful tool.
