I never heard of HCI design before this class. I didn't know what the whole game was, but it gave me an idea that there are rules and steps that need to be followed. Now that the whole game has been revealed and we even got to play a few rounds, I have a clear understanding of the elements involved. PRInCiPleS is no longer just an acronym and I feel confident that I can apply the 7 Themes of Good Design. One of the most important things I took away from this course is that no design is perfect in its original form. The whole design process needs to iterated many times before something of sufficient quality is produced.
