Kaizen essentially just means constantly improving upon an idea or design through iteration which totally ties in with theme 5: Entails continual redesign. Your first draft is rarely, and probably should never totally be, your last. The best design comes from redesign.
An idea our team had for project 6 was some sort of "game" that could be played while in line that also involved activity (fitness/wellness). Initially our minds went right to the Wii because of things like Wii Fit and Wii Tennis which do integrate both the ideas of gaming and fitness, or exergaming as one of our secondary research articles called it, however this idea wasn't really practical for waiting in queue lines.
So, through practicing kaizen, we tried to improve upon this idea of fun and games integrated with exercise and started thinking of ways that also tied the line into the ride at the end. The idea still isn't fully developed, but we're now taking our initial idea and basing it more around some sort of fun Disney game interface related to what ride they were waiting for on a stationary "ride" like a bike, row boat, etc. that would be moving slowly toward the ride in a conveyer type motion instead of standing in line, but would allow the family or people inside of it to move (i.e. pedal, row, move side to side etc. depending on what line they are in). Playing this game would distract them from how long a potential wait was while also subtly integrating the idea of movement and fitness in a fun way.
